My name is Suzzette Tamez aka Dhyan Navjot Kaur, I am a certified yoga teacher [ROSS 2020EK21004416].
I have been a Kundalini yoga teacher for 26 years and started as a student of Hatha and Kundalini Yoga when I was in High School.
I was fortunate to train with teachers who learned directly from Yogi Bajhan, thanks to him, we know Kundalini Yoga in the West of the world.
My yoga classes are 60 minutes or 90 minutes. The classes include warm-up, kriya or series of exercises, relaxation and meditation. I designed the classes to be adapted to any level (all levels are welcome). I pay close attention to each of my students ensuring a not only enjoyable, but even memorable experience. I connect with each of them in a personalized way, even in group classes. My classes are a blend of hatha yoga kundalini yoga; they are very diverse and varied, each class is different.
In my classes you can expect to experience a mix of relaxation, wellness, physical, mental and emotional work. I teach classes to teens, adults, seniors, women, men alike.
In each class you will stretch, move, breathe, meditate, and chant. There is an active component to the classes where you get to increase blood flow, oxygenate, and get a workout that feels good. Through regular practice, you will find your body more fit, your cravings down and your mood enhanced. Ready to carry on with your day!
Each class is different and with a specific purpose/result established in advance. You will feel the immediate effects of the class and after a couple of weeks, you will feel beneficially transformed. With more calm, more focus, more tranquility, and more enjoyment of life.

I currently teach online and in-person classes. I teach four times a week at a local gym in the city of Merida.
